I just received my K40, and it comes with a white tube. And I dont know what is used for. Any hint?
That’s most likely silicone sealant meant to seal the wiring on the laser tube. Everyone typically tosses it into the trash.

Could be. For me and other people I’ve seen it’s been silicone sealant. It could be a lubricant for the y-axis rail?
Checked again the tube… and the “thing” on the spot is “hard” as silicone… so, it is silicone.

So DON’T lube the Y axis with it?
