A couple of years ago I built a Prusa i3. During the last two+ years it mainly collected dust. Now I would like to pull it apart and build a cetus styled printer.

Does somebody have a BOM so I could use some parts (mainly the steppers) from the existing printer?

Have you visited the openbuilds section for 3D printers? Large collection of designs there

as Ariel suggested you might want to look into openbuilds section. Indie I2 build looks the most similar to cetus though it was designed around nema 14…

I haven’t gotten a full BOM together (need to either take it apart or build a second one to get a count of screws), but the Cranestyle Mini is pretty close. My 100mm-scale one uses NEMA 14 motors, but I’ve been slowly working on a 150mm-scale one with NEMA 17 motors and all the linear rails scaled up one size.

Btw, I started a G+ community for these types of designs a while ago: https://plus.google.com/communities/103389833072046557497

I am a fan of the Hypercube Evolution, I build one myself. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2254103

@Gerald_Dachs Interesting but not what I’m looking for.
