3D Systems new step into DIY, home and prosumer market with ProJet printer. Maybe this marks point where FFF printers will start to fade away. Other players will have to respond.

It will be a cold day in hell when 3D systems see a cent of my money.
ah c’mon guys. you know how the game is. they will go with low specs and high prices to get early adopters and “must have” people. this is how it is with all the tech. however, other companies will HAVE to respond with competitive products. they can not even look like they are falling behind in technology (shareholders and stock value). so there will be better specks and lower price … you are not a market for this machine 
The Formlabs Form1 is better and cheaper. You can see why 3D Systems sued them. Did that get resolved yet?
@DIY_3D_Printing , no way in hell - The Peachy printer will come in at $100 and smack them in the face. It’s already got a larger build volume, crazy lower price, and amazing resolution.
