3D printing might solve the logistical problem of building a lunar base. I really hope that it works!

On the face of it I can’t help thinking it’s a very difficult challenge and I can’t see them doing it.
Then I remember that they sent a large robotic vehicle to Mars! Now that is fantastic and practically science fiction! So I’m now pretty sure if they want to do it they will.
It’ll be a challenge of course but as you say, they already got Opportunity on Mars. Perhaps they can build a 3D printed garage to go with it.
