For a part like this I suggest re-designing to avoid the use of support. Maybe you can try printing it upside-down?

Yeah, you should try to minimise the amount of support in your print, flip it over so the large central area is on the bed, and support just the small edges, better still, if you can, redesign those edges to not need support by being slopped instead of perpendicular.
