3D printed Ghost Skeleton

My 4 year of grandson asked me to make a “Ghost Skeleton”.

He wasnt able to describe what it looks like, so I used ChatGPT to design it. It came up wirh this :

I used Meshy AI to make an STL, and then Blender to add a stand.

Came out great - he loves them !

Awesome project and came out great.

Don’t forget you can go into blender and clean up the mesh using digital sculpting. You only really need to learn about 4 brushes for the basic stuff.

Yeah I’m complete novice at blender - I prefer a more technical approach like Fusion.

Something I will get into at some point though.

If anyone wants the stl I’ll post it.

I am the opposite. After so many years of using art focused 3d modeling software, CAD just feels unnatural to me and I really have to fight to use it.

Great project. We are really in an amazing time when AI and computer tools really can make cool things.

Yes please post the design.

That’s a neat design! and a tough print! Congrats on pulling it off.

I’ve been using GPTs younger cousin Co-Pilot. It’s pretty good but not as good as the hype-merchants will have you believe. I’ve caught it getting stuff seriously wrong on “serious projects” (an electronics prototype). It saved me a lot of “Google time” but you need to be aware that it’s only as good as the collective stuff that’s out there… and that stuff may not be very good.

After retirement I miss the rigor of discussing ideas with peers. Co-Pilot provides SOME of that but in the common settings it just praises your every idea even if its a bad one.. I often ask it to tell me if I am wrong.

Keep on keeping on

Sure - Here is a link. I used tree supports to print it. Enjoy !

Thank you for providing the link and for sharing your talent with the world. Very impressive. I think I’ll use PVA to ensure easier support removal!
